| Biography: |
| Adam Gunn was a versatile athlete who excelled on both sides of the ball at Kiski Area HS. Pitt recruited Adam as a safety. Adam is known for his bone jarring hits and has the reputation of a headhunter in the secondary. His senior season saw him registering 55 tackles, including 19 solo. At quarterback he completed 45 of 90 for 873 yards and rushed for 234 yards on 87 attempts. Adam registered 63 tackles and 3 interceptions as a junior. He threw for 1,033 yards and 13 TD's as a QB. Adam was selected to the Tribune-Review All-Class AAAA team as an All-purpose performer. Recruiting guru Max Emfinger ranked Adam among the top 6 free safety recruits in the entire country. Adam was the first recruit to give the Panthers coaching staff a verbal for the 2004 recruiting class. Michigan, Notre Dame, Purdue, Penn State and West Virginia also had heavy interest in him. |
