2008: Moevao (MOY-vow) enters fall practice as the starter after taking nearly all the first unit snaps during spring practice...during spring he demonstrated a noticeably stronger arm and greater understanding of the offense...one of the most physical quarterbacks in the nation and is not afraid to scramble...passed for 226 yards and one touchdown in the spring game.
2007: The Beavers were 4-0 with him as a starter, although he played only the first series in the opening quarter of the Emerald Bowl due to an injury...took over for Sean Canfield in the starting role after the lefty hurt his shoulder at USC...played in nine games, completing 77 of 147 pass attempts for 876 yards and two touchdowns...accounted for four touchdowns, including two via the ground – scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter at Oregon to tie the game...in back-to-back games vs. Washington State and Oregon he completed 35 of 65 (.538) for 447 yards...long passes for the season were 35-yard hookups with Chris Johnson vs. Washington and Brandon Powers at Cincinnati...appeared in nine games |
