| Biography: |
| As a senior, Caragein caught 23 passes for 272 yards. He was named second-team Class AAA All-State by the Associated-Press.He was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" team. He was named first team All-Conference by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Caragein was named to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25" team.
Caragein recorded 68 tackles, 14 for loss, eight sacks, and 10 QB hurries. On offense, he caught 28 passes for 331 yards and had 54 pancakes as a junior.
He was named All-Conference (offense and defense, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fab 22". Caragein is a National Champion Greco-Roman wrestler.
