Panthers offer another Slash-type player

		By Bob Lichtenfels Date: Jun 12, 2004 The Slash role became synonymous with Pittsburgh athletics during the Kordell Stewart and Steelers marriage. They also did it with Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle El. Now their neighbors across the hall at UPMC appear to be adopting the philosophy. Maybe not with former QBs who can play elsewhere, but the University of Pittsburgh seems very interested in the ‘tweener’ type of athlete this spring.
