Panthers first to offer local LB

		By Chris Dokish Date: Apr 6, 2004 The Panthers have a lot of young linebacker talent on the their defense, and if they have their way, it could get a lot better. With talent already on the roster, the Panthers can afford to be picky, like offering Rico McCoy out of Washington, DC, who just happens to be one of the better linebackers in the country. And now the Panthers have dipped into their own backyard for a linebacker of similar talent.
