Star NJ athlete offered by Panthers

		By Chris Dokish Date: Apr 2, 2004 New Jersey was once a fertile recruiting area for Pittsburgh during the 80s and early 90s, but that hasn’t been the case for a while. Even this year, the Panthers have not been involved much in the state, which is even more loaded with talent than usual. That was until the Panthers hired long time veteran coach Pete Carmichael, a New Jersey native.
