Interest continues to grow for Ejuan Price, the 6-0, 235-pound linebacker. Price claims recent offers from Boston College and Duke, bringing his written offer total to nine. He enjoyed getting a chance to take a step back from the recruiting, and compete with his teammates at the passing camp.
"It gives you a sense of the local teams, how you look at them, and how you compare to them," Price said. "It was good. The competition is fun. Our team loves to compete. We just have to have fun so we can be more successful during the regular season."
The camp also gave him a chance to see Pitt up close, and meet with the Pitt coaches one more time.
"I've been to Pitt a ton of times," Price said. "I'm familiar with everything they have to offer. I spoke to Coach Wannstedt separately, and Coach Cignetti a couple separate occasions. It was just the normal stuff. They're not putting the push on me that much."
Price added that all schools are even, and that he'd like to make a decision sometime soon. In addition to getting out to Ohio State this past week, he is hoping to get to Iowa, another school that has offered him.
"Hopefully, I'll get (the decision) done before the end of summer, so I can focus on my senior season." Price said. "I want to get to Iowa, but there's no official date for that yet."
Is there anyone holding a slight lead?
"Not really," Price added. "They're all the same."
Price said Woodland Hills will compete in another 7-on-7 passing camp later this summer at North Carolina.
