Davis Looks For Improvement

Center-Offensive Guard C.J. Davis

Former Pitt offensive lineman C.J. Davis did not perform as well as he expected at the NFL Combine in February, but an improved effort at the Panthers' Pro Day this month gave him hope as far as the upcoming NFL Draft is concerned.

C.J. Davis noted that his 40-yard dash, 3-cone drill, shuttle run and 225-pound bench press all showed improvement, even if just a little. "I came in and competed, and I did a lot better than I did at the Combine three weeks ago,'' Davis said. "So, I'm happy with he results. I feel a lot more comfortable back in Pittsburgh.
