The Pitt football team has 21 verbal commitments going into National Letter-of-Intent Day Wednesday, but there are still some interesting developments that could occur before the day ends and PantherDigest.com is the place for all the up-to-date information on the 2009 Panthers recruits.
Here is a sampling of the
Pittsburgh
news you can receive as a subscriber.
•
PantherDigest.com
will have real-time updates when the LOI are faxed to the Pitt offices. As each one is confirmed, the information will be posted on the message board:
The Ironhead Lounge
• And feel free to continue to monitor
The Ironhead Lounge
throughout the day. I'm certain it will be buzzing with talk about Pitt's recruiting adventures.
• Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt has a recruiting press conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. from the Panthers' Heinz Field locker room, and
PantherDigest.com
will have that covered as well to get the fourth-year head coach's initial comments on the 2009 recruits.
• Other stories could develop from that press conference as well, depending on how forthcoming Wannstedt is with the information. Stay on-line with
PantherDigest.com
to see what else is revealed about the Pitt football team.
LOI Day culminates a nearly year-long journey, and
PantherDigest.com
will have all the information available. So, if you are not yet a subscriber, now's the time. Try our 7-day free trial:

And even though LOI Day will come to an end, the
PantherDigest.com
coverage won't stop until we've evaluated each recruit and provide comments by various Pitt coaches about their newest recruits.
And don't forget, as soon as LOI Day ends for the Pitt football coaching staff, they'll begin working on the 2010 edition. And so will
PantherDigest.com.
The first big Junior Day is Feb. 14 when the Pitt men's basketball team plays host to
Cincinnati
at 4 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center.
