There aren't any former teammates on the Pitt football team, and it's been a while since a McKeesport, Pa. High School grad has played for the Panthers.

However, Dana Brown, a 6-foot, 256-pound lineman, is hopeful that he can become the first Tigers football player to matriculate to Pittsburgh since linebacker Jason Chavis (1992-96).
