This is going to be a busy month for Pitt football coach Dave Wannstedt and his staff with several camps on tap and recruiting picking up for the 2009 class.
The Panthers will hold camps for specialists June 12, top prospects June 13-14 (grades 9-12) and an Individual Camp June 15-17 (ages 12-18). The Big Man Challenge is June 20, and the Team Passing Camp (high schools) is June 20-21. There also will be camps for Little Panthers, ages 6-11, June 18-19 and 23-24.
Panther Digest will provide coverage from the camps, recruiting updates from Scout Regional Recruiting Manager Bob Lichtenfels, notes from the team's summer workouts and extensive reports from the promising 2008
Pittsburgh
football season that begins with training camp in August. You don't want to miss any of the action, so you can renew your subscription now.
You can access here to securely order your subscription on-line.
Also, don't hesitate to suggest something that you might want to hear about this year that you might not have gotten from Panther Digest in the past. We'll do our best to fulfill every request from our loyal readers.
So, as Bob likes to say, buckle up and enjoy the ride. This should be Pitt's most exciting season in years. So, if you're not a Panther Digest subscriber, now's the time to get on board. And if you do subscribe, it's a great time to renew with a full one-year membership. Things are going to be jumping around here, and I just might have to put down my drink to type with two hands.
You can access here to securely order your subscription on-line.
To all Panthers fans and Panther Digest readers, thanks for your support in the past, and here's to a bright future with Pitt athletics and Panther Digest.
All the best,
Dale
