Chaplick Confirms McCoy Pledge

Scout.com learned early Sunday morning that Milford Academy five-star running back LeSean McCoy had given Dave Wannstedt a verbal commitment. McCoy at the time was not available for comment. He will make his decision public this evening, but Milford head coach Bill Chaplick told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that it's a done deal.

Kevin Gorman of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review spoke with Milford head coach Bill Chaplick this morning and the coach confirmed what we reported on Sunday.

"I deal with all the Division I-A schools in the country and I have to say, without a doubt, Pitt recruited really hard," Chaplick told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I guess it paid off in the end. He clicked with Coach (Dave) Wannstedt and that's who he'll be playing for."
