"I'm mostly looking at Pittsburgh, Florida State, Ole Miss, Central Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina," said Curry. "I will admit. Pittsburgh has been after me pretty hard and they haven't backed off. They are real high on my list. One of my top, if not the top school on my list."
Curry's strong interest in the Panther could lead to the commitment of another outstanding player. One of Brandon's close friends happens to be blue-chip defensive end prospect Jabaal Sheard (6-foot-4 inches, 230 pounds) from Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, FL. "It would be great to play together in college," he said.
"I want to take a strong look at Pittsburgh's depth chart and academics," said Curry. "I want to play fairly early in my career. I want to see how deep they are at tackle. It's important to me to see how they run their program. I want to see how the players interact with themselves and how the coaches interact with the player."
"Academics are important to me as well. I'm considering majoring in physical therapy and I want to check out their school."
Curry was a first-team All-County selection as a junior. He went the entire season without allowing a sack. Brandon has primarily played right tackle. He is capable of bench pressing 340 pounds and running the forty-yard dash in 5.3 seconds.
"I'll probably take a one or two more visits after this one. We usually play on Saturday but this weekend is one of the few bye weeks we have. I thought Pittsburgh deserved my first visit because they have been after me pretty hard. I'm excited to head up there."
