Pitt usually has to go to Florida to try and recruit speed, but not with Aundre Wright. The former Perry High star from Pittsburgh, Pa., who is now playing post-graduate ball at Milford Academy in New Berlin, N.Y. has game changing speed (4.34).
Wright was attending Milford with the hopes of earning a scholarship from his hometown school. Wright told Scout.com back in August when we visited that was his goal.
"I plan on going to Pitt, that's my goal and that's why I'm here," Wright said.
Today according to sources Wright received his wish as he was offered and accepted the offer from Pitt. The offer is contingent upon his academic success while at Milford Academy. Wright is ranked as a three-star prospect by Scout.com
