Ruch was named third team All-State by the PA Football News, first team All-Conference, Morning Call first team All-Area and Intelligencer first team All-Area. He has been a four-year starter on both sides of the line for Quakertown Community High School.
"I'm open right now and attempting to take a look at big group of schools. Most of the schools I'm looking at are in the Big East. I have camped at West Virginia and Pittsburgh. I'm going to go to camps at Temple, Boston College, Syracuse, Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland."
Ruch is capable of playing center and guard on the next level. Scout.com ranks him a "three-star" player. Pitt, West Virginia and Rutgers have extended scholarship offers. He had 26 pancake blocks and only gave up one sack as a junior. On defense, he registered 70 tackles and 2 sacks.
Caleb is capable of bench pressing 310 pounds and squatting 545 pounds. He can run the forty-yard dash in 5.1 seconds.
"Pitt had one of the better run camps. I like that they separated the offensive and defensive linemen. Most camps group us together. Coach (Paul) Dunn seems like a great guy with a lot of knowledge. It looks like I could see some early playing time if I went to Pitt."
"Run blocking is my strengths. I like to get off the ball and hit people."
