Joe Rudolph had a number of things going on with his offense entering spring ball.
Breaking in a new starting quarterback, losing his top two running backs to injury, getting a new receivers coach started and juggling an offensive line who was missing a couple players due to injury--Rudolph seemed relatively relaxed, after a busy spring.
"I think this group really enjoys each other, they just work," Rudolph said. "They like football. They keep focus. They keep energy."
The next few months will be big for everyone, particularly the quarterbacks. Chad Voytik said late last week that is is upon them as a group to work on their timing, their routes with receivers, in conjunction with summer lifting. Rudolph says this is just one position on the offense that displays a tremendous work ethic.
"I think they've done well," Rudolph added."I know Coach (Paul Chryst) is on them. They've worked in the film room, they've taken advantage of the reps they've had, preparing for that. They've created an approach, valued every single rep."
