After a crushing loss to Navy on Saturday, the Panthers are looking to bounce back against Georgia Tech. Savage and Street preach to their teammates to put the last game in the past. Chryst and his team have done just that by preparing for the Yellow Jackets since the plane ride home from Annapolis.

Despite the loss to Navy, Redshirt senior Devin Street left Annapolis with the game ball after breaking Pitt's all-time receptions record. Even with the new title and game ball in hand, Street felt unsatisfied.

Street's nine catches for 96-yards against Navy would not be enough to bring home a Pitt win. The senior wide out has already put the loss in the past. Now, he's looking to bring home a win and work toward his goal of becoming the all-time career receiving yards leader at Pitt. Street currently sits at fourth, after passing Larry Fitzgerald on Saturday against Navy.

"I've thought about what I accomplished a little bit since the Navy game," said Street. "I have been thinking more about the journey rather than the catches I made on Saturday. It still feels good to get that title and it's definitely something I set out to accomplish when I got here, but I still have more work to do."

Street's message to his teammates: put last weekend in the past, worry about this week's practices, and focus on preparing every day for the next game.

Red-shirt senior Tom Savage shared a similar message to his younger teammates. But Savage has already seen this Pitt team come back after a tough loss and is confident it will happen again on Saturday against Georgia Tech.

Savage did not share much on their game plan for the Yellow Jackets, but he did express how good it feels to have one of his main targets Street back on the field.

He's a great player and it's definitely a huge advantage when he's out there, because he's a leader and a playmaker," said Savage.

"I felt bad though, because I didn't realize until after the game that Street broke the record. I thought he already held all the Pitt records, but it was pretty cool to be apart of. I didn't buy him a steak dinner or anything yet though," laughed Savage.

Savage gave more insight on the recent loss to Navy and what this offense expects to see from the Yellow Jackets' defense. The experienced signal caller pointed out that this week is one of their better weeks of practice, and they expect it to carry over to Saturday.
