Freebeck Commits To Pittsburgh

Wade Freebeck threw for over 1,800 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior at Davie (FL) Western. He is the 13th commitment for Pitt's 2014 recruiting class.

Paul Chryst and his staff got some more good news Sunday night as Wade Freebeck made a verbal commitment to the Pittsburgh Panthers.

"Committed to the University of Pittsburgh #Panthers," Freebeck tweeted Sunday night. "took the opportunity to thank the most influential people in my life."

Freebeck three for over 1,800 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior at Davie (FL) Western High School. He recently transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas, where he will close out his high school career.

Freebeck was recruited by Pitt quarterbacks coach Brooks Bollinger. He took a visit to Pittsburgh last week.
