Panthers gain 11th commit of 2014 class; fifth in two days with Reading (OH) defensive end Shane Roy.

There is no letting up for Pitt's additions to its 2014 recruiting class.

Friday morning, the Panthers added Reading (OH) defensive end Shane Roy to the 2014 class. Roy is the fifth play to commit to the Panthers since Thursday evening, the tenth player to commit in the last week, the second player from Ohio and the 11th player in the class overall.

At 6-4, 235, Roy had a productive junior season at Reading. He led the team with 98 tackles, including 22 for losses. He also finished with 16.5 sacks, 21 quarterback hurries, four fumble recoveries and an interception.
