All eight bowl games will be played after Christmas. Aside from the BCS Orange Bowl, ACC tied in with Russell Athletic, Military, Kraft Fight Hunger, Belk, Music City, AdvoCare V100, Sun and Chic-fil-A Bowl.

With a new conference comes new bowl alignments. Monday, the ACC--Pittsburgh's new home--announced its 2013 bowl affiliations.

The winner of the ACC Championship Game, and representative to the BCS, will play in the Discover Orange Bowl. That game will be played on Friday January, 3, 2014 in Miami.

If two ACC teams are not selected for the BCS, then the Chic-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta gets the next call. That game, against an SEC opponent, is played on New Year's Eve in Atlanta. The Russell Athletic Bowl--played in Orlando, Florida, gets the next choice. That game will be played Saturday, December 28.

For those clamoring for a Pitt-Arizona State matchup, the Hyundai Sun Bowl provides the best opportunity. This matchup pits the No. 3 ACC representative against a No. 4 PAC-12 representative. The game will be played on the afternoon of New Year's Eve.

After the Sun Bowl, the Belk Bowl in Charlotte has the fourth pick of ACC teams. That game will be played earlier on December 28, preceding the Russell Athletic Bowl, and will be played against a team from the American Athletic Conference. The Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl in Nashville takes the fifth choice. That game, against an SEC opponent, will be played on December 30.

The sixth and seventh spots go to the AdvoCare V100 Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana on New Year's Eve and the Military Bowl presented by Northrup Grumman on December 27, respectively. The AdvoCare V100 will feature an SEC opponent.

The ACC also has an agreement with the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco. The only contingent is if there is an ACC team bowl eligible, and a matter of either BYU or a PAC-12 opponent not being able to fulfill its commitment to the bowl game.
