White Excited by Indiana Offer

Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) junior linebacker William White picks up his first Big Ten offer.

Detroit Cass Tech's William White has had a great junior season, and his hard hitting style and nose for the ball are a big reason the Technicians have reached the state semi-finals.

Last week, White picked up his second offer, and first from a BCS conference last week, when the Indiana Hoosiers extended one his way.

"I was very excited," he said. "It's a nice school with good academics."

The 6'1, 220-lb White's other offer comes from Toledo, and he is also hearing from Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Pittsburgh, and others.

He has been to Indiana before and said, "Yes, I will visit them when the season is done."

White and the Technicians take on Lake Orion at Troy Athens High School for the right to go to the state title game this Saturday at 1pm.
