Not even a 45-35 loss or a 2-4 start could sway his mind. Rachid Ibrahim informed the Pitt coaching staff on Thursday that he was committing to the Panthers, just days after picking up an offer.
Ibrahim is a running back and safety for The Avalon School, where he has rushed for over 400 yards and six touchdowns this season, helping his team to a 3-4 record.
Because of his versatility, he landed offers from such programs as Boston College and Iowa. It's no coincidence that Pitt joining the ACC was a factor in his decision and being able to play close to home.
Stay tuned for more info on Ibrahim's commitment.
