Chris Jacobson talks about how this offensive line has come together. He also praises the work of Ray Graham and Rushel Shell, and how when they make big plays, it inspires the line to come through even more.

Pitt's offensive line has been under scrutiny for a number of years. The 2009 offensive line came together as arguably the best unit over the last decade--a unit where Jacobson saw his first career start at left guard. Three members from that line--Lucas Nix (Oakland Raiders), John Malecki (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Jason Pinkston (Cleveland Browns) are now in the NFL.

This year's group started off allowing no sacks in the opener, then struggled against Cincinnati, allowing six sacks.

On Saturday, the line allowed just one sack, but was instrumental in the offense's performance in both the passing game and the run game. They only allowed one sack, but they paved the way for 254 yards on the ground, including 157 from freshman Rushel Shell. In addition to that, Jacobson talks about how seeing Shell run people over--something that's natural to a lineman--inspires his group even more. In fact, Jacobson talks in this interview about making Shell an honorary lineman for his physical play.

You'll also hear about the social aspect of the offensive line/
