Lamar Patterson led the way for his PGT Trucking team on Wednesday night, helping them to the 2012 Pittsburgh Basketball Club Pro-Am title.

PGT 83, GNC 76
The Pittsburgh Basketball Club wrapped up its annual Pro-Am summer league on Wednesday night, as PGT Trucking prevailed over GNC, 83-76.

Leading the way as he did consistently throughout the summer was Lamar Patterson; finishing with a game-high 27 points. Despite only connecting on 5-22 shots from the field, Patterson fared much better from three-point range (4-9). He was nearly unbreakable from the free throw line--converting 13-14 chances.

Also helping out from the Pitt side was Talib Zanna. Zanna ended up with 11 points and 8 rebounds in a winning effort, Pitt freshman James Robinson all finished in double-figures with 13 points. He was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. He, Zanna and Patterson were a combined 22-24 from the free throw line, which more than made the difference on the scoreboard. It also helped offset Patterson's rough shooting night, combined with Robinson's 3-13 performance from the field.

Tom Droney--current standout at Davidson College in Charlotte, North Carolina, also aided in the winning effort. The 2010 Sewickley Academy graduate finished with 2 points and 2 rebounds.
