Dom DeCicco led Pitt with 94 tackles this past season on his way to first-team All-Big East honors. He also tied for the team-lead with five interceptions

Pitt safety Dom DeCicco has been invited to the NFL Players Association Game, formerly the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star game. This year's game, with the new name, will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, moving from the Sun Bowl in El Paso. The game will be played on Saturday February 5, 2011, 2 pm EST.

DeCicco earned All-Big East honors in his junior and senior seasons, including first-team honors this past season. In his four year career, the Thomas Jefferson grad played in 48 career games, making 35 starts. He led the team in tackles this past season with 94 and tied for the team-lead with five interceptions.

He finishes his Pitt career with 244 career tackles and 12 career interceptions. He is the first player in school history to lead or to have tied for the team-lead in interceptions for a season in three consecutive seasons.

In previous years, when the game was formerly the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star game, former Pitt players Conredge Collins and C.J. Davis both played in the 2008 game. Recommended Stories
